Steel dowel pins are used as bearing points such as for a spring. NB: Although these dowel pins are nominally 6mm long I have found that they tend to be between 6.8mm and 7.1mm when measured with calipers.

Indicative Pricing With Allowance for P&P

You tend to get these in packs no smaller than 5 for about £2 which would make them 40p each. In practice you won't use 5. The Spitfire flight stick uses 3 which makes them effectively 66p each. As a compromise I've gone for 60p each.
